Jen Foth Konyn

Gardener / Designer

That's me on the left. You can usually find me buried deep in plants during growing season. I love gardening. And, I love making things beautiful. Whether it's a unique plant combination that adds drama and flare to a shady corner, or watching the bees buzz along collecting pollen from one native flower to the next - I can't marvel enough at the magnificence that is nature.

Having a garden is one of the fastest routes to connection, delight, and joy for me. I started Wild Twin Gardens because I want more people like you to experience the joy and delight of being in or near the garden. I believe that gardens are healing spaces. They are places of wonder, offer respite from our hectic lives, and allow us to fully let our "wildness" out. I believe gardens help foster meaningful connection with each other and the natural world around us.

I'm an experienced gardener and passionate about creating beautiful designs that benefit people, pollinators, and wildlife. My garden designs blend structural shrubs, trees, and pollinator-friendly & native plants for ecological benefit.

I've completed the ProHort (horticulture) curriculum and Landscape Design courses through the University of MN Extension. I worked for two small local gardening organizations. A member of the Horticultural Society of Minnesota, I am committed to continuous learning always inspired by nature's wisdom. In 2017, my partner Ray and I won the Blooming St. Paul Award for our volunteer gardening at the Summit Monument Garden site.

Our Philosphy

At Wild Twin Gardens, we believe gardening is an art form that connects us with nature.  We are dedicated to creating beautiful, sophisticated, and sustainable gardens that add beauty and biodiversity.

Your garden should bring you delight while benefiting the earth. Whether you're looking to support pollinators through native plants, add curb appeal, or seasonal beauty through containers, we 're here to help.

We're focused on simple and sustainable garden designs for the DIY'er. By doing so, we enable you to play an active role in nurturing your garden while contributing to the sustainability of the environment. We don't install, hardscape or assist with fruit or vegetable garden planning.
